A Special Place Therapeutic Preschool is the ONLY preschool in Sonoma County offering onsite therapy to children ages 2 – 5 years old.
Our preschool is a state subsidized, full day learning environment opened Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. We provide healthy snacks and meals as prescribed by the State of California Food Program of which we are a part. Our focus is on developing social and emotional skills so our preschoolers can become kindergarten-ready learners.

SITE SUPERVISOR: Amy DeJung
Amy is a graduate of Humboldt State University with a bachelor's degree in Child Development focusing on family studies and psychology. Throughout her 8+ years in early education, she has received both an Associate Teacher Permit and a site supervisor permit. She started her journey at 15 years old as a field hockey coach for 4-12 year olds, and has since worked in many childcare settings ranging from in-home daycares to outdoor-based preschools. She loves cooking, music, and exploring the outdoors, especially within the classroom.
