We host awareness and fundraising events to create top of mind recognition of YWCA and our vital and singular role in keeping local families safe from harm.
Gather Sonoma is YWCA’s single largest event of our year which provides much needed funding for our programs to keep Sonoma County families safe from harm. Our event begins with sparkling wine on the lush lawn of the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. At noon, festivities move to the pavilion for lunch and live auction. Guests are seated at their table with a female winemaker or prominent woman in wine who will pair each course with their wines. The live auction provides a great opportunity to bid on remarkable packages.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) and YWCA Sonoma County spends nearly every day raising awareness in our community with events, signage and more. Join us in increasing the knowledge that 1 in 4 families are affected by domestic violence.
Our annual Fun Run and Walk raises funding and awareness for YWCA Sonoma County and their Domestic Violence services. Held each October at Spring Lake Regional Park, the costume contest brings smiles and extra fun to this community event.
