I’m sharing these client testimonials to illustrate, in any language, feeling safe is universal. Through YWCA’s 24/7 Domestic Violence Crisis Hotline, we answer calls from families in extreme danger. We listen with an equity lens where language barriers are overcome. Recently there has been an increase in calls from children within these homes.
YWCA’s confidential Safe House is the only one in Sonoma County providing refuge to families experiencing violence in their own home. We respond with advocacy, support and most importantly shelter in a time of crisis. Your financial contribution stays local and serves Sonoma County residents at risk of significant harm.
